Malta Hotel Europa
Malta is a great place to learn to dive, but likewise also offers plenty for the more experienced divers. Diving in Malta is most popular from the shore and day-dive boats, with an abundance of wrecks, caves and intertwining tunnels. Several boats also offer dive safaris around the islands. We at Malta Hotel Europa are happy to organise your accommodation in Malta coupled by a detailed program for diving, visiting a few of the most acclaimed sites scattered around the island. Night diving is also a gem in itself. Should you be interested we could also ask a diving boat to pick you up from the deck situated just across from the hotel. Furthermore, we could also organise PADI licensed Diving courses for beginners and the experienced alike. Contact us for details. |

The climate is hot, with temperatures reaching up to 36°C from May to the end of September. The warm Sirocco wind blowing up from the Sahara can make diving conditions rough of southern coasts in spring and summer, while the latter part of the year sees the north westerly majistral blowing strongest. Most rain is in winter. Best time for diving in Malta is between April and October or November. The clear waters are home to plentiful fish and shore dives reveal many small fish, while offshore sites produce barracuda, groupers and others. Malta's highlight, however, is seahorses. |
